ArtistSpread, a joint initiative of Sony DADC India Pvt Ltd and Creinse Limited, launched their first female ambassador, Tashfia Sui Tashfee’s debut single “Shur” through an event at the Westin, Dhaka on Saturday. The same banner has already signed up with Miles and Bappa Mazumder as their brand ambassadors and distributed their albums through more than 200 digital platforms globally and more than 100 retail outlets in India.
Tashfee started her journey with music four years back, and has already worked with prominent musicians of the country along with multiple appearances in “Wind of Change” in Gaan Bangla.
Her debut original song “Shur” is composed by Shahrin Shahriar with a special appearance of piano exponent Romel Ali. The song will be distributed globally through Spotify, i-Tunes, Shazam, Amazon Music and in nearly 200 platforms worldwide encompassing online, telecom and streaming.
The music video of “Shur” is the first ever “vertical music video” in Bangladesh, which is easier to watch on phones. Directed by Md Zakir Hossain, the video was shot at a local café.
Rabeth Khan, Managing Director of Creinse Limited and Abu Sayeed Zahir, Director of Creinse Limited spoke at the event, among others. The event ended with a performance by Tashfee.
Prior to the launch event, a first listening event was also held simultaneously, where Tashfee performed “Shur” for the first time in front of her most avid 15 fans who were selected through the social media contest “Love for Tashfee.”
